We fixed and cleaned out one of the old "mystery birdhouses." Who did put them out here? 

The pollinator habitat has just been mowed and will be interseeded with a new seed mix this year. 

Looking back at the old farmstead, long ago taken by a tornado. The area today is a popular refuge for birds. 

Dow, or Pleasant Ridge, cemetery is the burial site for many of the early settlers in Buffalo County, Nebraska.

Native prairie, perhaps never plowed, surrounds the gravestones in the nearly inaccessible cemetery.
